For a perfect fit that allows your pup to run, jump, and play with ease, all our patterns are handmade and tailored to the miniature dachshund body. We've worked hard with a variety of pups to ensure the measurements are spot-on.
As miniature dachshunds share similar characteristics when they mature, we launched The American Wiener in one size. However, this doesn't mean we've forgotten the smaller pups and the standard size dachshund!

From design to fabric selection, and of course the signature woven labels that brand our garments, we make sure every step is done with outstanding care and attention. We source only human-grade materials that are soft, stretchy, and help pups stay comfortable. Since dogs aren't people, it's extremely important that things like buttons and zippers won't be hazardous if chewed. At The American Wiener, we try to think like a pup and use materials that don't cause harm or discomfort.
